Tell us about your career journey
My career in hospitality started while I was attending the UConn School of Business and working at New York Pickle Deli. What began as a college job turned into a 13-year career where I worked in nearly every area of the business and eventually became General Manager. Along the way, I found myself drawn to the people side of the business—hiring, coaching, developing teams, and solving employee-related challenges—which ultimately led me to Human Resources.
What's your favorite part of supporting our team members?
Building relationships and getting to know the people behind the job titles. Everyone has a unique story, and I enjoy helping employees navigate challenges, celebrate successes, and feel connected to the organization.
What do you believe makes a great workplace culture?
A great culture starts with communication, respect, and teamwork. When people trust one another, work toward common goals, and feel valued, great things happen. Supporting employees with meaningful benefits and resources also goes a long way in creating a workplace where people want to stay and grow.

What do you enjoy outside of work?
Before my career in hospitality and HR, I spent some time writing and performing rap music at clubs around Hartford. It's not a skill I use often these days, but it usually makes for a good conversation starter.
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, watching sports, and trying new restaurants. As a proud UConn alumnus, you'll usually find me following UConn athletics, and I also appreciate a great tequila and good company.
