Tell us about your career journey
Food has always been a part of my life. Growing up, my dad was the Executive Chef at Stew Leonard's, so I was surrounded by hospitality from an early age. I started working there when I was 15, and throughout high school and college I continued working in restaurants as a server and bartender. After graduating, I took a different path and became a court reporter for the Superior Court in Fulton County, Georgia. It didn't take long to realize I was meant to be in hospitality, not a courtroom. I followed that passion by studying wine and spent the next four years working as a sommelier.
When my husband and I started our family, I wanted to step away from working nights while still staying connected to the industry I love. I had the opportunity to transition into restaurant marketing, where I discovered a new passion for telling the stories behind the people, food, and experiences that make this industry so special.
What's one thing you hope every guest feels before they even walk through the door?
I hope every guest feels the genuine care that goes into everything we do. From the food and hospitality to the stories we share online, every detail is intentional. At the same time, I hope they can tell that we don't take ourselves too seriously. We love creating memorable experiences, having fun, and making people feel like they're walking into a place where they can relax, connect, and simply enjoy themselves.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
When I’m not working, I’m enjoying my two wild boys - three if you include my husband. We like to spend time outdoors, exploring coffee shops, breweries, and restaurants. If I ever get some time to myself, I love a good book.
